Infrastructure always eats applications.

Electricity → the grid. Compute → general-purpose computers. AI → the OS.

Right now we are in the gadget era. Cloud + Photoshop plugin. Cloud + Excel plugin. Cloud + this. Cloud + that. Electric belts of our time. They die within two years.

What comes next is not another plugin bolted onto legacy software. It is the substrate everything else plugs into.

That's what we're building.

Honeycomb OS is four things fused:

  • Canvas — a live spatial surface. OCR, nano banana runtime, real-time visual work. Humans, engineers, kids — not just devs.
  • Swarm — many agents collaborating. Autonomy sliders. Adapters for every future model.
  • Intelligence trading — context blobs between honeycombs. Bluetooth-class comms at the edge. State-level at scale.
  • Local RL — every honeycomb learns with its user. General intelligence as floor. Personal specialization on top.

In 1–2 years, agents talk to agents more than humans talk to AI. The economy reshapes around how agents trade context, memory, intelligence. Humans move to atoms. Digital human-to-human interaction collapses.

The OS that survives is the one built for that world, not patched into supporting it.

Legacy OS are 1980s tech. Linux, macOS, Windows. Internet on top of them. Apps on top of the internet. AI bolted on. Five layers, all creaking.

Someone has to build the substrate. We're building it. Public. Raw. Fast.
